Adidas and Palace made colorful clothing for yoga, swimming and relaxation

Palace and Adidas transcend themselves for their latest collaboration. Their new “Palaste” collection, slated for release this week, takes a look at the tropes of the relaxation economy through colorful, limited-edition yoga and leisure wear.

You’re invited to the holistic experience championed by the capsule, but unlike many budding gurus, Palace is clear about the role money plays in the whole business. A calming voice narrating the promotional video urges you to “Open your mind, open your heart and open your wallet to Palaste”.

The equipment may not help you on your quest for enlightenment, or just a nominal escape from the fear of everyday life, but it will make you look cool as shit while you meditate, sit by the pool or do whatever helps you. turn off the noise of the outside world. A rainbow tie-dye tracksuit features lots of logos, but none are cooler than the one with the palm open to contain the yin-yang symbol with Palace name. The print and logo also appear on a bucket hat and yoga mat to warm up wherever your hyped chakra is.

How about a bathrobe or slippers? – The merchantable Palaste lifestyle also includes bathrobes with signature Adidas stripes and a massive lotus embroidered on the back, as well as more ordinary streetwear clothing through t-shirts, hoodies, tank tops and a extra bucket hat. The slides – an ever popular choice for the spa, pool, or crib – are available in a chalky yellow and another logo that plays with the yin and yang iconography.

Selling the amorphous concept of “wellness” has proven to be quite lucrative for a horde of brands targeting millennials and zoomers, and it’s clear Palace is having fun getting rid of the largely corrupt lawsuit. No one needs this gear in their quest for peace of mind – I personally do yoga in my underwear at home after COVID killed my local studio – and if you want a cop, you better admit it anyway.

The full collection is set to release at 11 a.m. this Friday, August 13, on the Palace and its stores website. No word on pricing yet, but it sure won’t be a scam like many other products the wellness economy would push in your face.
