adidas Dame 8 “Emoji” Basketball Shoe Release Date
The Portland Trail Blazers may not have the 2021-22 NBA season they expected – thanks in part to the absence of Damian Lillard – but the team hopes to reach the Playoffs. As his team continues to put in commendable efforts, the Oakland, Calif. native continues to release new styles of his adidas Dame 8 sneakers, the latest featuring a series of emojis.
Similar to previously seen iterations of Lillard’s eighth signature sneaker, the upcoming pair indulges in a predominantly “Core Black” arrangement across its mostly mesh upper and Bounce Pro midsole. Branding to the profiles and heel, however, interrupts the dark tonal scheme with a mix of vibrant tones, with the 3-Stripe side logos going down to a gradient finish in pink, yellow and purple. However, the shoes’ most eye-catching details come in the form of playful icons on the top of the tongue and on the medial heel, while crying, angry, evil faces and more help bring the latest sneaker to life. adidas basketball. Underfoot, the directional outsole ditches any inclusion of emojis, but a neon makeup more than makes up for the omission.
Enjoy official images of the sneakers below and anticipate an adidas.com launch in the coming weeks.
Elsewhere in the Three Stripes family, the adidas Adimatic – a skate shoe from 1996 – is set to return soon.
