The German multinational that manufactures athletic shoes, sportswear and accessories, Adidas AG is partnering with non-fungible token (NFT) brands Bored Ape Yacht Club and the Punks Comic comic book series. Adidas revealed last week that the company has teamed up with Coinbase and believes the metaverse is one of the most “exciting” developments in digital.

Adidas wants the world to know that it is entering the world of blockchain technology and Metaverse collectibles. On December 2, the company’s Twitter account announced that it had partnered with the cryptocurrency investor. money, the NFT Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) project and Punks Comic.

“Today we jump into the metaverse with [Bored Ape Yacht Club], [Gmoney] & [Punks Comic]. It’s time to step into a world of limitless possibilities ”, Adidas wrote Thursday. The tweet has been liked over 8,000 times and retweeted over 4,000 times. The tweet also leads to a web portal called Adidas Metaverse which says:

It’s happening. Gmoney, Punks Comic and the Bored Ape Yacht Club lead Adidas into the Metaverse. Let’s go.

It has not yet been revealed when the merged NFTs of BAYC and Adidas will be released and made public.
