Another Palace Skateboards x Adidas EQT drop has arrived
It’s human to think what could happen if two brands that are individually excellent are combined into one all-conquering force. So you can imagine how amazed we were when we learned that German sportswear juggernaut Adidas and hip London skate brand Palace Skateboards have joined forces again for a new capsule collection, which drops today.
Following the success of their previous collections, which focused on nature and yoga respectively (and sold out within days, it should be added), the two brands have embarked together on another mission to update Adidas’ epochal EQT range. Originals, a sub-line that consists of state-of-the-art performance sportswear.
Announcing the news on instagram yesterday, Palace revealed the collection would feature a tight edition of high neck sweatshirts, t-shirts, joggers, caps and socks in the brand’s white and teal colourways. . From what we can see, it’s a minimalist tie, with the “Palace” logo placed tightly below the EQT design. This thing looks too good to work out, but if your cosycore wardrobe needs an update, you’ll find exactly what you need here.
It’s a fairly understated collection for Palace, which earlier this year collaborated with Rapha on a cycling collection that featured eye-catching graphics ranging from camouflage patterns to embroidered images of Jesus. But since when has the skate label been predictable? In fact, that’s exactly what has made them one of the most sought-after streetwear brands in the industry, isn’t it?
Ready, set, go.
The Palace x Adidas EQT range is now available for purchase from Palace’s online store.
