Beyoncé’s rodeo-inspired Adidas Ivy Park clothing is for kids too
Beyoncé’s next drop at Ivy Park focuses on all things Western, wearing black cowboys and cowgirls to model everything from fringe masks to Three Stripe denim leggings. Ranging from sizes XXXS to 4XL, the Rodeo capsule offers something for everyone – including, as recently announcement by Adidas, Bey-bies.
For the first time, Ivy Park presents a collection for children, allowing even the youngest Beyoncé fans to indulge in her sportswear brand. Comprised of 16 clothing styles, available in sizes 2T to XL, the capsule is inspired by the adult capsule for a cohesive family look.
Baby bronco – A brief promotion video shows Beyoncé and her own family modeling the entire Rodeo collection. Her Grammy-winning nine-year-old daughter Blue Ivy shows off cow-print leggings while four-year-old twins Rumi and Sir slip into miniature blue Ivy Park sets. Other less famous kids show off purple cow print tights, kids’ fringed face masks, and a graphic tee that says “brought up rodeo” in a printed cursive font.
To follow every kid’s lifestyle, the Rodeo Kids Pod includes comfy basics like French terry hoodies and sweatpants, as well as sportswear like blue and cow print sets. Windbreakers and cropped t-shirts give a streetstyle touch to children’s clothing, which comes in colors like purple, dusty pink, cobalt blue, and off-white and purple cow print.
In the saddle – Almost every piece in the kids’ collection aligns with the adult iterations, allowing for plenty of matching ‘mini-me’ moments. The whole family can now dress in Bey-approved cuts – as long as they are able to pick up Western styles before they sell out.
The ranch-inspired collection, including its miniature styles, will launch exclusively on Adidas website for 24 hours on August 19, while a larger global launch will follow on August 20. Adult parts range from $ 45 to $ 200 and children’s parts range from $ 20 to $ 65, ensuring that the Rodeo capsule is also included in the price.
Everything Beyoncé touches sells instantly, and this kids’ collection is no exception. If you’re hoping to take the artist’s contemporary take on classic Western clothing, you should get dizzy – the day of the fall will likely be similar to the real Wild Wild West.
