“Dada’s intelligent delivery SaaS system aims to empower delivery service providers, improve passenger loyalty and accelerate the digitization of the industry,” the statement said.
So far, more than 100 companies have logged into the system to manage omnichannel orders, delivery capacity and dispatch, including JD Liquor World, Seven Fresh Supermarket and Liansheng Group. The open on-demand delivery market in China is expected to grow at a compound average annual growth rate of 36% from 2020 to 2024, according to iResearch data.

“By leveraging the crowdsourcing model, it provides integrated delivery solutions including digital passenger management, smart order recommendation and dispatch for retailers and service providers,” Dada said in the statement.
On-demand retail has unique needs compared to regular e-commerce, which can make it difficult to manage delivery effectively for offline fulfillment. Many retailers also lack the ability to develop and manage their own delivery systems.
