Missing 11-year-old boy was found after police launched an extensive search


An 11-year-old boy who went missing during the Christmas holidays has been found.

Police have appealed to help locate Abdullah Akram, after being last seen on Belvedere Road in Toxteth on the morning of Tuesday, December 28.

Officers said an “extended” search was underway to locate the boy.

When he was last seen around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Abdullah was wearing a black Nike tracksuit, black Adidas shoes and a small satchel.

This morning, Merseyside Police confirmed he was found unharmed.

A spokesperson said: “Thank you to everyone who shared our call. Abdullah Akram is safe and sound and is now back home.”
